There are many explanations and theories relating to healing and that is why there are so many books written on the subject. I believe that to try and explain and understand what healing is, and how it works, is too complex to comprehend and yet it is so simple and powerful. There is much to say on the subject, but little space, so I will share with you a shortened version of some of my understanding.
I believe, no one person has the answer, we all have the knowledge that we have at this moment in time, and if we continue to develop ourselves spiritually our knowledge expands.
There are many energy healing techniques and spiritual healing is one.
Spiritual healing is an ancient therapy, which has been used throughout history. It has its roots in India, China, Egypt and Greece.
In India Yogis have practised a psychosomatic therapy based on scientific knowledge since the dawn of time.
In India and Egypt the priest and doctor were one – as were science and religion. The medical temple schools of Egypt were famous all through antiquity.
Although healing was referred to by some as magic, the word magic meant “hidden wisdom”.
Spiritual Healing compliments conventional medicine by channelling the Universal Light of healing energy from the Source to the client, in order to help their own energy to reignite and heal themselves. I am but a channel for the Light.
Spiritual healing is now beginning to be recognised in the west but in the east has been acknowledged for thousands of years. ‘Chi’ and ‘Prana’ are two of the better known names for these energies. The simplest way to describe it is as the ‘life force’. I believe the healing energy we channel is LOVE, and LOVE heals many things.
Healing energy can be directed by the healer connecting to the LIGHT and transferring this energy through their body and out through the heart, hands and voice to the recipient, be it by contact or distant healing. Spiritual healing works on the body on ALL its levels, mental, physical, spiritual and emotional. The body absorbs the LIGHT as much as it requires, and then directs this energy to where it’s needed most, at this moment in time, and in the persons highest good. The spiritual energy is supportive to the natural healing process, and recovery time. It can be used to help people cope with the trauma and stress of serious illness and could help minimise the side effects of treatments such as chemotherapy and radiation therapy.
Spiritual healing is gentle, but powerful, it helps to balance the energy fields of both the auric fields and physical body. It is a therapy without side-effects, and it compliments other therapies.

Healing is also able to help people cope with the stress that is experienced in the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Helping you to break free from afflictions and limitations of body, mind and spirit. It may provide enhanced quality of life and bring about spiritual growth and understanding.
Healing could have an immediate effect, or you may not feel any benefit for an hour or so, until the following morning, or even days later. Not all problems will respond to one session of healing, you may require several visits.
Spiritual healing is a natural energy that flows through the healer to the healee. You do not have to believe in it for it to work for you and, although I believe it comes from God, no religious faith is required by the person receiving the healing.
Have you ever wiped a child’s tear and see it replaced with a smile? – Have you held the hand of someone who’s sick, and watched them perk up before your eyes? – What about the people who talk to coma patients until they wake up?
Do you realise, You, are giving these people healing, which is LOVE, and as more people give out LOVE to the World, the World and the people within it becomes a much happier place.
Then, why not learn to channel the healing energy? Most people have the ability to heal and the channelling of the LIGHT (spiritual healing) can be taught. I believe everyone has an inborn ability to heal, it just has to be nurtured and brought to the awareness of the student.
The mind is so powerful that we can perform great things if we truly believe it is possible. MIRACLES do happen.
It is said, “when the pupil is ready, the teacher will appear”.
