HISTORY relating to the early days of the EXHIBITIONS.

The first exhibition was in 1991 and it was held at Norwich City football Club in the Board Room on a Sunday, the day after match day. In 1991 we had 16 stands. In 1994 we had 22 stands and 280 people visited us.

The exhibition was held on a Sunday in those days, as Norwich City played on the Saturday. One day in 1995, I received a telephone call saying Norwich City had to cancel our booking as the television people wanted to change the football match day to the Sunday, because it was to be televised. Well I ask you, fancy turning us down and choosing SKY broadcasting!

I had to find a new venue, quickly. I looked around, and finally contacted The Hewett School. To this day we continue to hold our exhibitions in the South Hall, accessible from the Hall Road entrance. We now hold the exhibitions twice yearly, in March and October. We have progressed from those early days of 16 stands to 77 stands in 2006 and In the October 2006 the exhibition attracted approximately 1200 visitors.

Since those early days we have held the Mind, Body, Soul fairs at the Hewett School and it has turned out to be a truly successful venue for us all.

13th and 14th October 2007 - Exhibition information.

The weekend is nearly here and all the stands are booked and awaiting your visit. It is great to welcome back some regular exhibitors who have been with us for quite a few fairs.

The Exhibitions are held in the South Hall at the Hewett School, Hall Road entrance, Norwich.

These are called Natural Healing or Mind, Body, Soul Exhibitions. It is the aim of the exhibitors to share with the general public the natural ways in which you can help your body to be healthy. The stands attending the weekend are a selection of what is available within the complementary health field. We also have a selection of Readers.

As each new exhibition comes around I always endeavour to offer to our visitors new exhibitors and their therapies etc. It is always great to keep our visitors wanting to come again and again, because they know they will see something new and this is what we aim to offer each time.

The comments I received recently came from a person enquiring about when the next exhibition was, "I am always pleasantly surprised to find I enjoy my visit every time I come, because each time there is something new to see and experience, I am never disappointed!"

That is great to hear because we always try to please our visitors whether it be their first visit or whether they visit us regularly.

DIRECTIONS to The Hewett School, South Hall, Hall Road, Norwich, NR1 2PL. Here are the Multimap directions.

PLEASE NOTE:

I am making a real point this year about HALL 2. For various reasons some people seem to miss this hall.

So here goes for those of you who do not know . . . . .

There are 2 HALLS exhibiting over 70 stands.
There is HALL 1 with an UPPER and LOWER level exhibiting 41 stands, and HALL 2 with 32 stands.

Maybe it is because there are two levels in HALL 1, and people think this is the second hall?

Who knows, but let's hope this has made it clear for all.So here are direction to . . . . .

HALL 2, Workshop room, Toilets, Refreshment room and Childrens' Competition area.
From Hall 1, facing the stage, take the stairs on your right and turn left into the corridor which will take you to the Workshop Room, Toilets and Refreshment area. You will find the two entrances to the Refreshment room on your right, where you will find liquid refreshments and vegetarian food. The Childrens' Competition is in the refreshment area at the farthest end, opposite Hall 2. You will find paper and crayons for the children to draw their pictures.

At the bottom of the corridor on your left there are stairs which lead down to HALL 2. These stairs are opposite the 2nd entrance door to the refreshments area where you will find the childrens' competition.

It is important to understand that these therapies are not a substitute for medical help.

As the week goes on, due to unforeseen circumstances, there may be changes to therapists and/or stand positions. If you want to see someone in particular and you can't find them, please check at the front desk.

Please contact me if you are interested in exhibiting at these exhibitions. Also if you wish to register for an email to be informed of future events.

The exhibition organiser accepts no responsibility for the conduct of the exhibitors or the advice offered by them.

I wish you an enjoyable visit and hope you come back again in March 2008.

Love, Light and Blessing to You and Yours. Ohm Shanti
